Start your week and weekend off on a calm, relaxing, contemplative note that will stay with you throughout your day. Set the tone for the week with this interactive group meditation session guaranteed to increase your focus, patience, and enjoyment of your day. This is a calm, relaxing and soul-enriching time for yourself before work, at work, lunchtime, etc. The power of the group creates a fresh, enlightening and magical experience. Sessions are 15 minutes in length with a mindfulness instructor to lead each session. The popularity of the event will dictate additional sessions to accommodate as many participants as possible at different time throughout the day. Please contact us for the call-in information.
What is mindfulness meditation? Mindfulness meditation is unique in that it is not directed toward getting us to be different from how we already are. Instead, it helps us become aware of what is already true moment by moment. We could say that it teaches us how to be unconditionally present; that is, it helps us be present with whatever is happening, no matter what it is.
It’s more about going through the mountain versus going around it. Doing so strengthens, fortifies, and enlightens when done consistently. Although I am basically a sprinter by nature, I must remember that life is a journey without any real destination. – Sierra
